Another quick Bangkok Shopping trip

Hi Everyone,

Happy 2017, I know we are in February already but I haven't posted in a while.  I was super busy towards the end of 2016 and beginning 2017. I really hope your year is going well so far.

Last week I had to make a quick trip to Bangkok again for personal reasons, and after that I couldn't resist making a stop at Sephora...

So, the van came to fetch me at 4:30 am from my apartment building so that I could be in time for leaving at 5am.  This was already difficult as no body should be awake at that time.... I managed to make it downstairs with one eye open and be waiting by 4:15am...  The van arrived and took me to the van station, I went to the nearby 7/11 store and bought a ham and cheese sandwich and coffee... Now if you are planning to travel in Thailand I suggest rather taking a bus if you need to leave at that time because the whole way there I had to do everything to keep the driver from falling asleep... not fun.  I was coughing (not a real cough) every time I saw him nodding off.  At one stage I even told him to stop because I needed the toilet. (again not really needing the toilet).  Needless to say I was petrified the whole way. It takes about 3-4 hours to get to Bangkok from where I live.

I went about my business and after I was done I headed straight for Siam Center to Sephora. I decided that before I started browsing for ever I should grab something to eat... (Was already lunch time and nobody wants to hear a persons stomach growling while browsing makeup)

I ordered myself an omelette with bacon, cheese and mushroom. I also ordered myself an apple and lime Italian Soda... yum!

Once I was done eating I went in to Sephora.  Now let me tell you, when I walk in there it's like letting my daughter loose in a toy store! I am so obsessed with looking and swatching everything...  There wasn't a specific reason why I was there apart from looking for a nice concealer.  In Thailand due to the language barrier I think the ladies there are a little afraid to assist the foreigners... (although there are a lot of foreigners with their calculators out doing conversions).

I ended up purchasing some items, it is so hard to go in there and leave with out spending your hard earned pennies.  Now honestly there are many items I wanted but had to restrain myself.  I purchased: Kat Von D lock it concealer and Tattoo liner. I also purchased the sample size of the Clinque take the day off balm and Tarte's Maracuja Oil. I received a free sample size of the Kat Von D lipstick in Cathedral. People often ask me why I buy travel sizes, the reason for that is that I can test the product before spending all that money on a full size and then it doesn't work for me.  I purchase everything myself so I have to make sure I absolutely love it before I buy the full size.

Now, so far I have been loving the Kat Von D products... I have been using them pretty much all week in my day to day makeup.  They are definitely staying in my make up bag.  I am super impressed with the formula of all three of these items.

So my Bangkok trip was totally worth it (even fearing for my life).. I am yet to try the other two products I bought. I will definitely keep you updated!

Here are some pictures of me wearing the Kat Von D products:

I hope that you enjoyed reading, let me know what you think of Kat Von D's products!

*Please note that all opinions expressed in this post are my own.  I purchased all these products myself.*

Remember you are in charge of your own happiness, we live in an extraordinary world! Enjoy it! Make the most of it.
